The ‘Flying Farangs” ice hockey club was founded in 1994 by a group of expat hockey players.

‘Farang’ is the Thai word for foreigner.

The Flying Faraings host shinny hockey on Monday and Thursday nights at the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena (contact Scott Murray at flyingfaranghockey@gmail.com for more info)

The Farangs also participate in the Siam Hockey League (SHL) held on Sunday evenings at the same venue when in season.

The Flying Farangs are dedicated to:

• Non-Profit Fund Raising 
• Open invitation for players to come out and join us on Monday or Thursday evenings – non-contact hockey 
  (Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena)
• Sending teams to various hockey tournaments in Asia
